Northiam Footpath Group was formed in 1994 with 15/20 members, to encourage people to get out to walk, explore and enjoy the countryside.

We have members are of all ages and abilities.

The annual subscription is a modest £5 per person for the year.

 

 

Where and when the group meets

We always meet in the Northiam Surgery Car Park (NSCP). Then drive to the start point.

The NSCP is located near the centre of the village, adjacent to the A28 Hastings to Ashford road and is clearly signed

We organise two walks a month.

An all day walk on the middle Wednesday, Distance 4 to 6 miles. Often with a pub lunch.

An afternoon walk on the last Sunday. Distance 2 to 5 miles.

 

Group Social Events

Early morning breakfast walk with a full English.

Fish and Chips supper.

New Years walk and lunch.

AGM and social evening.

 

Group activities.

The group has produced local walk leaflets (on sale locally to help our finances.)

A half yearly walks programme.

Monthly article in the Parish Magazine.

Termly walks for the local school children.
